Our client is seeking an experienced Site HR Advisor to join their team in a site-based role supporting a busy operational workforce. This is a hands-on position suited to a confident HR professional who thrives in frontline environments, enjoys working closely with leaders and employees, and can balance employee relations, compliance, and performance support in a fast-paced setting.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing day-to-day HR support to site leadership and employees across a broad range of HR matters
  • Advising on employee relations issues including performance management, disciplinary processes, conflict resolution, and investigations
  • Ensuring HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation are applied consistently and remain compliant on site
  • Supporting performance review processes, development planning, and employee training initiatives
  • Maintaining accurate HR records, reporting on HR metrics, and contributing to HR projects and process improvements
  • Assisting with onboarding, employee engagement activities, and reward and recognition programs on site

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role within a site-based, FIFO, mining, construction, or similar operational environment
  • Strong knowledge of Fair Work, employment legislation, and general HR/IR practices
  • Confidence managing employee relations matters including disciplinary processes and performance improvement plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of the workforce
  • High level of professionalism, sound judgement, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Relevant qualification in Human Resources or a related field (Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
