Your new company
At Hays Specialist Recruitment we play a major role in supporting remote camp sites in South Australia. Our clients have developed service solutions for remote sites to meet their clients' needs for comfort, safety and well-being at each stage of their projects.
Your new role
We run a large Casual Pool of staff to supply a range of hospitality services to our participating mine sites, ranging in size from 40 beds to 2000 beds in remote locations within South Australia. ***Due to some very specific requirements we are looking for candidates that have proven FIFO Allrounder experience on remote mine sites but candidates MUST hold a Full Australian Drivers Licence. These roles will require candidates to work both day shift and night shift).
These roles are for experienced all-rounders and will see you assisting across several departments including:
- Kitchen Hand
- Housekeeping
- Mine Site cleaning
- Industrial Laundry
- Dining room sanitation
- Bar attendance (for RSA holders only)
All flights will depart from Adelaide Airport so we can only consider candidates who are based in Adelaide, South Australia,
What you'll need to succeed
- You MUST have previously worked in a similar role, in remote areas with past Fly in Fly out experience.
- You will be required to get a full Police clearance and provide 2 contactable work references who can confirm your remote FIFO Minesite experience.
- A current FULL Australian Driving Licence is ESSENTIAL
- You must be flexible and be willing to work both the day and night shifts.
- A Food Safety certificate is required for ALL positions
We run a thorough recruitment and onboarding process before staff can join our pool and because of this we can only engage with candidates that are based in South Australia. All candidates will undertake an extensive pre-employment medical and instant drug and alcohol test in Adelaide. Once through the onboarding process all FIFO opportunities leave from Adelaide airport.

As part of our casual roster, we offer excellent pay and conditions in remote mining camp villages that we service. All flights, accommodation and food are provided whilst you are on site and accommodation consists of your own room with personal facilities. Sites have access to gym equipment and other recreational facilities are available for all residents to use.
