Your new company
Hays is partnering with a well-established organisation seeking an experienced Finance and Administration Officer to join its Corporate Services team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-focused professional who enjoys working across finance, accounts and administration in a collaborative environment.
Your new role
Reporting to the Group Purchasing Officer, youll provide accurate and timely finance and administration support across the organisation. Working closely with the operations and Corporate Services teams, your duties will include:

  • Entering and reconciling daily fuel delivery dockets
  • Importing fuel card transaction files
  • Assisting with fuel card enquiries and account maintenance
  • Processing fuel and cartage invoices
  • Generating and distributing monthly statements and delivery volumes
  • Maintaining accurate customer files and records
  • Supporting accounts payable and accounts receivable with data entry and reconciliations
  • Assisting with customer enquiries and general Corporate Services tasks

This is a varied role that will see you work across finance, accounts, customer service and operational administration.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this position, youll have previous experience in finance administration, accounts support or a similar all-round administration role. Youll be confident completing high-volume data entry and reconciliations, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Youll also have excellent communication and customer service skills, sound systems knowledge and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment. A proactive, collaborative and self-motivated approach will be essential.
