Food and Beverage Manager- Rottnest Island

The Resort: 
Located on the incredible Rottnest Island, the Resort comprises 109 rooms in a variety of layouts with a fast paced restaurant, bars, cafe operation and conference and pool facilities. 
  
The Role:

• Hands on leadership of a team of 50+ with a strong ability to create a wonderful team culture
• Proven ability to work alongside the team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times and encourage repeat visitation
• Genuine desire to ensure team development through on the job training 
• Experience in collaborating with various departments of the establishment to ensure incredible guest experience including sales and marketing and back of house operations
• Excellent communication with all key stakeholders
• Exceptional financial acumen with proven success in managing multi departmental outlets    

The Candidate:

• Experience in a similar role ideally in a hotel or large multi departmental environment 
• Exceptional personal presentation and communication skills
• Strong ability to organise and prioritise tasks
• Creative approach to improve efficiencies and processes
• Experience in developing future Business strategies 
• Excellent wine knowledge
• Availability across weekend and public holidays
• A genuine desire to motivate others and create a fun working environment
• Collaborative approach with no ego essential
