Golf & Sports Team Leader

Join the team at RACV Cape Schanck Resort, located on the stunning Mornington Peninsula. We're looking for a hands-on Golf & Sports Team Leader to support the day-to-day operation of our Golf Shop and help deliver exceptional service to members, guests and visitors.  

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in golf operations, retail, hospitality or customer service who enjoys working with people and is looking to further develop their skills in a supportive resort environment. 

About the Role 

Reporting to the Golf Operations Manager, you'll assist with the daily operation of the Golf Shop, support team members, coordinate bookings and competitions, help deliver golf events, and ensure a welcoming experience for all guests. 

Key responsibilities include: 

• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the Golf Shop 

• Delivering exceptional member and guest service 

• Assisting with bookings, competitions and golf events 

• Leading and supporting team members during daily operations 

• Maintaining retail presentation, merchandising and stock control 

• Managing cash handling and equipment hire processes 

• Promoting golf, leisure and resort experiences 

• Working collaboratively with other resort departments 

About You 

You'll bring: 

• Experience in a golf, retail, hospitality or customer service environment 

• Previous experience supporting or supervising team members 

• Strong working knowledge of MiClub 

• Excellent customer service and communication skills 

• Sound retail, merchandising and stock management experience 

• A positive, professional and team-focused approach 

Essential Requirements 

• Availability to work a 38-hour week, including weekends 

• Current RSA Certificate 

• Current Victorian Driver Licence 

• Flexibility to work across a 7-day operation
