Not-for profit organisation seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a contract role.

Your new role
Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation across a broad range of HR activities. This is a true generalist position, offering variety and the opportunity to contribute to a people-focused environment during an exciting period of growth and change.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing advice and support to managers and employees on HR matters
  • Managing employee lifecycle activities including onboarding and offboarding
  • Assisting with recruitment and workforce planning initiatives
  • Supporting performance management and employee relations processes
  • Maintaining employee records and HR systems
  • Coordinating learning and development activities
  • Assisting with policy development and compliance requirements
  • Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Previous experience in a HR Generalist, HR Advisor or People & Culture role
  • Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • The ability to build effective working relationships across all levels
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working within a highly regulated environment will be highly regarded
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline

What you'll get in return
You'll get the opportunity to work for a values-driven aged care provider. This role is 2 days per week at 15 hours, and can also be worked over 3 days.
