Program Officer Digital Transformation

• Duration: 6-Month Contract, Start ASAP
• Daily rate: $500 - $550 + Super
• Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Program Officer to join a national not-for-profit organisation supporting Australians through the delivery of important health services.
The organisation is currently undertaking a significant national service transformation, bringing together services and stakeholders across different states to create a more consistent, digitally enabled experience for people accessing support.
Working closely with the Program Delivery Manager, you will support a busy national program comprising five interconnected work streams, with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, coordination and upcoming digital service releases.

The Program
The organisation is operating within a federated environment, working across different states and stakeholder groups to deliver a consistent national service.
The program is transforming an established telephone-based service into a broader, digitally enabled service.
With the program entering another busy period of build and release activity, the team is looking for an experienced Program Officer to provide hands-on support across the wider delivery environment.

The Role
Working closely with the Program Delivery Manager, you will help maintain structure, visibility and alignment across the five work streams.
Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting program and project planning and scheduling
• Coordinating activity across multiple concurrent work streams
• Maintaining visibility of timelines, activities and dependencies
• Supporting the planning and coordination of upcoming service releases and go-lives
• Helping maintain alignment across the five program work streams
• Coordinating with stakeholders across different states and organisational groups
• Providing broader program support within a busy digital delivery environment

About You
We are looking for someone with:

• Previous experience as a Program Officer, Project Officer, Program Coordinator or Project Coordinator
• Strong experience in project planning, scheduling and coordination
• Experience supporting complex programs with multiple work streams
• Exposure to digital or technology-enabled transformation
• An understanding of service releases, go-lives and digital delivery environments
• Strong organisational and stakeholder coordination skills
• The ability to operate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups
