THE ORGANISATION
Our client is an established technology business supplying critical communication and workflow solutions into the healthcare and aged care sectors across Australia and New Zealand. The business has grown headcount by more than 50 percent in recent years, backed by sustained revenue growth, and continues to invest and scale across every function. A more mature executive structure is being built out to support the next phase of growth, with significant investment flowing into People & Culture as part of that.
THE ROLE
Based either in North Sydney or North Melbourne, reporting to the GM HR, you will take ownership of a newly created portfolio covering Projects and Service, the organisation’s largest and most technical function. Supporting project managers, service technicians, system engineers, site managers and their leaders nationally, you will lead ER/IR case management, own workforce planning and succession for a fast growing field based population, and build career pathways that turn a highly technical workforce into a genuine talent pipeline. This role has been created to give you the space to build rather than react, with a clear runway to grow the role and your career as the business continues to scale.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will bring hands on ER/IR experience from an operations heavy environment such as manufacturing, construction or field and technical services, along with strong knowledge of Victorian and Queensland legislation. You will be commercially minded, comfortable operating with ambiguity and a fast pace of change, and motivated by the chance to build something meaningful in a business genuinely investing in its future.
