Job Description

Join Schneider Electric as a Senior Verification & Validation Engineer within our Test & Compliance team in Gepps Cross.

You will lead  verification & validation activities across the product development lifecycle, ensuring products meet performance, safety, regulatory and certification requirements..

What You'll Be Doing

  • Define and lead verification and validation strategies and test plans.
  • Execute and coordinate complex product and system testing.
  • Analyse results against technical, safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage technical risks, test failures and non-conformities.
  • Support product qualification, certification and compliance activities.
  • Prepare technical reports, traceability records and validation evidence.
  • Improve testing methods, processes and laboratory capabilities.

About You

You are an experienced engineer with a strong background in product testing, verification & validation, and the technical judgement to lead complex validation activities.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Significant experience in Verification & Validation, Test Engineering, Product Compliance or Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of V&V methodologies, test planning and requirements traceability.
  • Experience in product development and structured engineering environments.
  • Working knowledge of relevant Australian standards, including AS/NZS 3000, 3100, 3112, 3133 and 60669.
  • Exposure to international standards such as IEC 60947 and related compliance frameworks.
  • Experience analysing technical test data and identifying risks and non-conformities.
  • Strong technical reporting and documentation capability.

Highly Regarded

  • Master's Degree in Engineering.
  • Product qualification and certification experience.
  • Experience within accredited laboratory or testing environments.
  • Experience providing technical guidance or mentoring to engineers and technicians.
