Account Manager
- Manage a portfolio of existing and newly acquired label customers.
- Identify new projects and opportunities within your portfolio.
- Develop relationships with customers outside the company’s traditional wine market.
My client, an established premium label manufacturer, with a strong reputation, is looking for an Account Manager who can strengthen existing customer relationships, grow account revenue and help develop new opportunities.
What’s on offer
- $130,000–$150,000 $20,000 car allowance + super, depending on your label industry experience.
- Greater salary flexibility for someone who can introduce meaningful new revenue.
- A portfolio with room to grow across food and beverage, beauty, health and personal care, pharmaceutical and premium consumer products.
- Support from experienced estimating, prepress, production and customer service teams.
- A role that can be shaped around your strengths.
About the role
You’ll manage a portfolio of existing and newly acquired label customers, building relationships with brand owners, procurement teams, marketing departments and production contacts. You’ll look for opportunities to grow each account while providing the dependable service customers expect.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Retaining and growing existing customer accounts.
- Identifying new projects and opportunities within your portfolio.
- Developing relationships with customers outside the company’s traditional wine market.
- Managing briefs, quotations, sampling, artwork approvals and production requirements.
- Coordinating with estimating, prepress, production and customer service.
- Keeping customers informed and resolving issues as they arise.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records, opportunity details and sales forecasts.
- Supporting the onboarding and ongoing management of new customers.
The role is Melbourne-based and involves regular customer meetings, with occasional interstate travel when required.
About you
You must have sales or account management experience in the label industry. You’ll understand how label projects move from brief and artwork through quoting, production and delivery, and you’ll be comfortable working with brand owners and other packaging decision-makers.
You’ll bring commercial judgement around pricing, margins and account growth. You’ll also be organised, responsive and able to manage several customer projects at once without losing sight of the relationship.
If you’re an experienced label Account Manager who enjoys growing accounts and wants to play a part in a manufacturer’s next stage of growth, apply or call 0489 077 681 for a confidential discussion.
