About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to help shape positive student outcomes through meaningful work that supports academic success and progress.

As the Senior Officer, Student Success (Outcomes), you will deliver programs, initiatives and interventions that help students overcome barriers, remain engaged with their studies and achieve their academic goals. Working within a student-as-partners approach, you will collaborate across Student Outcomes services and provide practical support to students, academic staff and key stakeholders.

You will play an important role in identifying and supporting students who may be at risk, coordinating academic progress initiatives, and contributing to continuous improvement activities that strengthen the student experience and enhance outcomes across the University.

In this role, you will:

• Coordinate and deliver initiatives and interventions that support student success, academic progress and positive outcomes.
• Identify and support students who may be experiencing challenges, connecting them with appropriate services, programs and resources.
• Build strong relationships with students, academic staff and key stakeholders to address barriers and improve the student experience.
• Support academic progress processes, committee activities and reporting requirements to ensure effective service delivery.
• Analyse information, feedback and data to identify opportunities for improvement and implement practical solutions.

About you

You will bring:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in student services, education, professional services or a related field.
• Experience providing professional advice and delivering outcomes in a complex organisational or customer-focused environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• An understanding of governance, compliance and policy frameworks, with the ability to apply them in practice.
