Property Network of Australia is seeking an Asset Management Assistant to join a private property investment and development group based in Sydney CBD. Our client operates with a small, collaborative team and partners with external property professionals to deliver high-quality commercial property outcomes across its national investments portfolio.
We are seeking a property graduate with a willingness to learn and develop their skills, while supporting the asset management administration process for this business. Previous or current experience as a Property Analyst, Assistant Valuer or someone with property administration and accounts would suit this role very well.
This full-time role is ideal for a self-starter who enjoys a varied workload, including office administration, accounts processing, and supporting property investment and asset management activities. You will provide support to the Managing Director, ensuring smooth daily operations and effective communication across the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist the Managing Director with a range of asset management activities
- Support property investment and development administration
- Maintain business records and property-related information
- Take part in external meetings with agents and property consultants
- Process account receipts, payments, and basic entries in Xero
- Prepare monthly financial and property reports
- Manage office administration, diary, and mail duties for the MD
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in property administration or professional office environments
- Attention to detail and a proactive, responsible approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and Xero
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- A desire to prosper in the asset and investment management industry
