We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Diversity & Inclusion Senior Advisor to join our People & Culture team.

This is an opportunity to make a genuine impact leading initiatives that strengthen inclusion, influence organisational culture and help deliver meaningful outcomes for our people and the communities we serve.

The role

As our Diversity & Inclusion Senior Advisor, you’ll provide specialist advice and lead the development, implementation and delivery of initiatives aligned with Transgrid’s Diversity & Inclusion Strategy.

Working across the organisation, you’ll partner with leaders, employees and key stakeholders to turn strategy into action and embed inclusive practices into the way we work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the design, delivery and continuous improvement of Diversity & Inclusion programs and initiatives.
  • Overseeing key initiatives, including our Pathways to Projects Program.
  • Supporting the delivery of People & Culture commitments under our Reconciliation Action Plan.
  • Developing engaging D&I communications, resources and campaigns for internal and external audiences.
  • Partnering with Organisational Development and Talent & Leadership teams to embed D&I principles into learning and leadership development.
  • Supporting and strengthening employee-led networks and helping deliver key events and awareness initiatives, including International Women’s Day and Wear It Purple Day.

About you

You’re a collaborative and influential D&I professional who combines strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach to delivery.

You’ll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in a Diversity & Inclusion, People & Culture, Organisational Development or related role.
  • A strong understanding of contemporary D&I concepts, practices and how they can be effectively applied within an organisation.
  • Experience designing and delivering D&I strategies, programs, initiatives or organisational change.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability, including experience using data and reporting to inform decisions.
