Executive Assistant | Immediate Start | Eastern Suburbs | $52.53/hr + Super

Your new company
A respected South Australian public sector organisation is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a senior executive within a fast-paced operational environment. Located in Adelaide's eastern suburbs, this is an opportunity to join a collaborative executive support team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of a busy executive office.
Your new role
Reporting to a senior executive, you will provide confidential executive and administrative support while managing competing priorities and ensuring urgent matters are addressed efficiently.
Key responsibilities will include:

  • Complex diary and inbox management
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence
  • Preparing, proofreading and quality-checking executive documents
  • Coordinating approval workflows and document management processes
  • Preparing agendas, meeting papers and action registers
  • Taking minutes and documenting key decisions and action items
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
  • Supporting executive reporting and administrative functions
  • Contributing to process improvements and more efficient ways of working

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills
  • Strong written communication and proofreading capability
  • Experience managing complex diaries, inboxes and correspondence
  • The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Confidence managing competing priorities and urgent requests
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and professional judgement
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Teams
  • SharePoint experience will be highly regarded
  • Experience within a government or highly regulated environment will be advantageous
