The Opportunity

We’re partnering with a leading global logistics and supply chain provider seeking a proactive, solutions-focused National People & Culture Manager to lead their national HR roadmap. This permanent, full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to partner directly with branch leaders across Australian offices, balancing daily operational HR with high-impact organisational transformation and future workforce planning. It is a visible, national role designed for someone who wants a clear voice in how an organisation grows and improves.

The Role

Reporting to the Managing Director (Australia) with a dotted line to the Regional HR Director, you will balance hands-on business-as-usual operations with key strategic programs. Your primary focus will include:

  • Strategy & Transformation: Developing the national People & Culture roadmap and supporting leaders with organisational design, process improvements, and AI-related workplace change.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding: Overhauling the national hiring framework, strengthening the employer value proposition, and designing a structured, consistent 30/60/90-day onboarding journey.
  • Capability & Cross-Training: Building practical national training matrices to close critical skill gaps, mitigate operational dependencies, and build broader business resilience.
  • Compliance & OHS: Ensuring alignment with Australian employment law, modern awards, and Fair Work requirements, while working with branch managers to promote safe work practices and return-to-work coordination.
  • Culture & Leadership Support: Fostering a unified, authentic company culture across all branches , providing managers with practical communication and performance tools, and tracking key people data insights.

About You

You are a seasoned HR professional and strategic thinker. Experience within logistics, freight forwarding, transport, supply chain, or a similar fast-paced environment is highly regarded. You bring exceptional communication and influencing skills, sound industrial relations judgment, and the ability to comfortably move between strategic planning and hands-on execution.
