This is a genuinely varied, hands-on role where you'll work closely with the Director and take ownership of the day-to-day administration of the business, while also supporting customers, suppliers, logistics and the wider team.

Based in Brookvale, the business operates across import and distribution, retail and roofing, so there is plenty of variety and the opportunity to become an integral part of a small and successful team.
 
As the Office Manager, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of the office, providing high-level administrative and logistical support across the business.
 
Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the Director's diary, emails, travel arrangements and correspondence
  • Liaising with customers, suppliers and logistics providers to answer enquiries and coordinate orders
  • Monitoring stock levels and sales and arranging stock replenishment when required
  • Processing customer and website orders
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  • Providing administrative and logistical support across the various businesses
  • Preparing reports, maintaining records and managing the CRM
  • Working with external service providers to keep websites and product information up to date
  • Preparing invoices for import, sales and roofing consultancy customers
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable across the businesses, including payroll
  • Assisting with HR administration, including recruitment, onboarding and terminations
  • Managing multiple email inboxes and three phone lines
  • Undertaking general office and reception duties and ensuring the office runs efficiently and professionally 

About you

  • You are confident, capable and enjoy taking ownership
  • Comfortable working independently, juggling competing priorities and stepping in wherever needed to get the job done
  • Previous experience in an Office Manager or similar senior administration role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to deal with customers, suppliers and service providers
  • A resilient and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage changing priorities
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Previous experience using Xero
  • Experience working with a CRM database
  • A professional approach to handling confidential information
  • Experience across accounts, order processing, inventory or logistics would be highly regarded
