Payroll Operations Manager

The Role

Reporting through to the Payroll Manager, your tasks will include:

• Being the 2IC and acting as a senior stakeholder in the payroll team
• Managing end-to-end payroll processing of approximately 4,500 employees on a fortnightly basis
• Processing and calculating superannuation, payroll tax/PAYG
• Month/year end closing
• Assisting with key payroll projects
• Identifying process improvements
• Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
• Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business
• Partnering and developing strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
• Working collaboratively and as a team across departments

Candidate Profile

You will have prior experience in a similar Payroll position, along with the following attributes:

• High volume payroll experience within a medium / large scale organisation
• Proven experience with a large software packages such as SuccessFactors, Dayforce, iChris, UKG
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Knowledge of multiple awards/EBAs
• High level analytical skills
• Strong working knowledge of Excel
