Fuse Recruitment are seeking an experienced People Specialist / Senior People Specialist to join our National Client’s  Perth team for a leading global organisation based in Canning Vale.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to take ownership of the people function for a local business while partnering with a broader ANZ People team.

With operations across multiple markets, the organisation provides customers with a broad range of products, technical expertise and supply solutions. The business operates in a collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on customer service, innovation and operational excellence, while supporting customers across Western Australia and beyond.

About the Opportunity
Initially offered on a Full-time Casual basis paying $83 per hour + Super, this position has the potential to transition to a permanent role after approximately six months, with a salary of $130,000 + Superannuation.
As the primary HR contact for the Western Australian business, you will provide trusted, practical HR advice and day-to-day support to managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle.
Working closely with the Senior People Business Partner, ANZ, you will contribute to a broad range of people initiatives including employee relations, talent management, organisational development, performance management and change.
You will also collaborate with the broader ANZ People team on regional projects, helping drive consistency, continuous improvement and best-practice people solutions.
What You’ll Be Doing

  • Act as the primary HR partner for the Perth business, providing trusted advice and support to managers and employees across a broad range of people matters.
  • Partner with leaders on employee engagement, organisational effectiveness, workforce planning and change initiatives.
  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, performance management, employee relations, talent development, succession planning and retention.
  • Coach and support people leaders on performance management, employee development, workplace policies and people-related decisions.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to deliver effective, compliant and high-quality recruitment outcomes.
  • Help build a high-performance culture through effective performance, talent and leadership development practices.
  • Lead or contribute to local and regional HR projects, including organisational development and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant HR operations, including employee documentation, HRIS administration and employee lifecycle transactions.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and work closely with payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Maintain accurate employee data and provide people reporting, insights and support for compliance and governance requirements.
  • Partner with HR colleagues, People Technology and business stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance the employee experience.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies, programs and initiatives aligned with the organisation’s people strategy and business objectives.

About You
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who can operate confidently and independently in a fast-paced business environment.
You will ideally bring:

  • At least 4 years’ experience in an HR Generalist / People Partner role, preferably within a multinational or matrix organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Essential experience interpreting Modern Awards.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms; SAP SuccessFactors or Workday experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience with payroll administration or payroll vendor management, such as ADP, is advantageous.
  • Strong employee relations and performance management experience.
  • The ability to work independently, solve problems and make sound, practical HR decisions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build credibility with leaders at all levels.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working within a matrix reporting environment.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills; experience with Power BI or HR analytics tools is advantageous.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
