We are seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing Coordinator to support purchasing operations across maintenance, planned works, facilities and capital works. This is an opportunity to bring your purchasing expertise, attention to detail and collaborative approach to an organisation that puts people and community at the centre of what it does.
 
About the role

  • Coordinate day-to-day purchasing activity, including purchase orders, supplier records and purchasing documentation.
  • Provide practical guidance and workflow support to Purchasing Coordinators, including complex or urgent purchasing matters.
  • Maintain accurate supplier and contractor records and support onboarding, compliance and contract administration.
  • Work closely with Maintenance, Capital Works, Procurement, Finance and Compliance teams to resolve issues and keep purchasing activity moving.
  • Ensure purchasing activity is accurate, timely and aligned with organisational processes, approvals and delegated authority.

About you

  • Experience in purchasing, procurement administration, accounts payable, contract administration or a similar role.
  • Strong administrative, organisational and time-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident working with purchase orders, supplier information, quotes, invoices and financial data.
  • Clear communicator with practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A relevant qualification in business, procurement, finance, property services or a related field is desirable, although equivalent experience will be considered.
